Morphometric parameters of sulphide ores as a basis for selective ore dressing

To assess the possibility of selective disintegration and reduction overgrinding hard-to-reproduce ores, optical microscopic X-ray microtomographic studies were carried out quantitative characteristics morphological parameters disseminated rich cuprous ore samples from Norilsk-type Oktyabrsky deposit identified. Among most informative are area, perimeter, edge roughness, sphericity, elongation average grain spacing for copper-nickel ores; roughness ores. The studied characterized by increased values dispersion in zones, which is especially important fine-grained difficult to diagnose methods.
